I
qualified as an architect from Bristol University in 1984 and completed
an MA Research in interior design titled “Synthesis as a Conceptual
Basis for Design” at University of Central England, Birmingham
in 1998. I worked part time as a practicing architect because I
enjoy the process of creating and realising architectural designs,
which involves communication and co-operation with people at many
levels. Turning complex functionality into aesthetic form and plausible
three-dimensional composition is a
challenge, but the eureka moment is always worth the effort.
