Highley Bandstand
2004
Following the success of the Highley Sculpture Trail I was invited by the Highley Initiative (client) and Bridgenorth District Council to present a design for a bandstand for the Welfare Ground and sports facility in Highley, Shropshire.

The design in concrete and metal is a synthesis based upon the human ear, musical theory and behaviour of sound. References to musical instruments are also eveident in its forms, whilst fullfilling the functional brief of bandstand and pavilion, accessible for people with disabilities.
