Harmonic Convergence

This animation was produced as one of three which interpreted music in architectonic form. The music was a 1976 composition by Steve Halpern called ‘Harmonic Convergence. Steve Halpern’s work explored Modernist studies on how the frequencies of light correlate with frequencies of music.

The large crystal floats and rotates in space whilst washes of colours change in response to the chords.
