      URBAN TAPESTRY - July 2002
Client:Birmingham City Council
Project: Birmingham City barriers commission.
The brief was to enhance crash barriers used for crowd control in festivals and events held in the city centre. A series of 24 digital images were produced, fusing cultural patterns with the urban fabric of Birmingham city centre architecture and created into panels fixed to the barriers – a kind of ‘dressing up’ for the event.

    HIGHLY SCULPTUAL TRAIL - SEAMS OF TIME
Location:
Highley Village and Severn Valley Park
Client : Highley Initiative and Bridgnorth District Council
‘Seams of Time’ is a series of three works in the ex-mining village of Highley. The trail starts from the picturesque setting of Highley Station, passes through the Severn Valley park and into the village streets. The trail is a ‘portrait’ of Highley making reference to its past and present.
 
   
 
    Part 1: SONG OF STEAM TRAINS
Situated at the entrance to the Severn Valley Park and opposite Highley Station, this 4.5m long panel in steel and ceramics symbolises the development of the village and reflects the voice of the children. Find out more...
 
   
 
    Part 2: SEAMS OF TIME
This pavement trail comprises seven bronze plaques alluding to important characters, events and economic developments in Highley’s history. Each themed plaque bears the nicknames of miners which, by mining tradition, were handed down from father to sons through the generations. Find out more...

The Highley Initiative are currently seeking funding to complete this last piece of the tryptich ‘Seams Of Time’ Sculpture Trail.

Project:
Gallery in the Trees - 'Passions'
This piece made of steel oil drums, car body work, steel and granite was a proposal for Northfield district, Birmingham, located outside the Rover works at Longbridge.
As a gateway sculpture it heralded the importance of the Car Industry in the Midlands.

ESSENCE - 2003
Client:
Manor Hospital, Oxford
‘Mitte sectari, rosa quo locorum sera moretur' (Do not go to that place where the last rose lingers). This was a proposal for the Manor Hospital, Oxford which was built on a site originally owned by Oxford united Football Association.

VIRTUAL ROME - December 1999
Collaboration with Lead Artist Colin Pearce and assistant Jaspal Sehint. Alongside other images, a perspective view of a roman building was digitally modelled and projected onto a 60 ft high-rise residential tower block.
